The Mishe Mokwa Trail is one of those hikes that earns its reputation, rugged sandstone formations, sweeping canyon views, and a quiet that's hard to find this close to the city.
Every bend in the trail offered something worth stopping for, whether it was the light cutting through the chaparral, the scale of the rock faces, or just the stillness of being out there.
Pluto, naturally, was in his element, bounding ahead, nose to the ground, completely unbothered by the elevation.

Between Light and Shadow
Sometimes it's a mountain disappearing into morning clouds, the last light reflecting across the water, or a trail leading somewhere I haven't been before. Other times it's a city after dark, an unexpected reflection, an empty street, or the geometry of a building against a dramatic sky.
My photography moves between two worlds: landscape and urban life. They may seem very different, but what draws me to both is the same: light, atmosphere, and those brief moments when an ordinary scene becomes something more.
